This page explains, in plain words, how Dwellvo is designed to protect household information. It describes design intent during early access. It is not a contract or a guarantee. The website privacy policy covers this site and its forms; app privacy information will be published before the app opens to the public.
For households
- You choose who is on your Home Team. Companies are connected to your household because you added them or asked them for work.
- Companies get what a job needs. A company sees details of your home and household for work with you, not a directory of homeowners.
- Access is designed to end after the job. Once work is finished, a company's view of the job closes after a short window.
- Your private notes stay yours. Notes you write for yourself are designed to stay private to your household.
- Payments are reported, not processed. Dwellvo doesn't process payments. You can tell a company you've paid, and the company confirms it received payment.
For companies
- Owners and admins manage the job. They see what they need to quote, schedule, invoice and confirm payment.
- Technicians see less. Without individual job assignments, a company's technicians are designed to see only a job's reference, type of service, status and visit times, not the household's personal details or money.
- Accounting records stay with the company. Invoice numbers, amounts and dates remain available to the company after a job ends. Homeowner personal details do not.
